Epson WorkForce 645 Setup

  1. Check if the manufacturer’s seal is present on the Epson WorkForce 645 printer carton before you begin the unboxing process.
  2. Open the box and check if the Epson printer and its components are provided in it.
  3. The components include the ink cartridges, connecting cable, AC power cord, and installation CD. Keep the Epson WorkForce 645 Setup on a flat surface. Peel off the tapes on the Epson printer.
  4. Attach the power cable to the electrical port of the printer and power supply. Lift the control panel of the printer and press the ON button.
  5. Choose your language as English. Configure the other settings like the Date Format, Country / Region, and Time Format.
  6. Open the scanner unit of the Epson WorkForce 645 printer.
  7. Raise the cartridge cover. Take the cartridges given the print box and shake them for 4 to 5 times.
  8. Remove the cartridges from their package and peel off the yellow-colored tapes on them.
  9. Insert the cartridges into the respective holders. Gently press the cartridges until they fit into their slot.
  10. Close the scanner unit. Tap OK on the control panel of the Epson WorkForce 645 setup.
  11. Open the paper cassette of the printer. Slide-out the edge guides to their maximum position.
  12. Place enough number of sheets with their printable side facing down in the paper cassette.
  13. Fix the sheets by adjusting the guides. Close the paper cassette.
  14. Unpack the phone cable given in the printer box. Plug an end of the cable to the LINE port of the printer and the other terminal to a telephone wall jack.
  15. Launch the software of the printer on your computer and complete the printer setup.
