HP Officejet Pro 6835 Troubleshooting

 Step 1 : Customize the Paper Size OJ Pro 6835 Setting

Select File from the program you want to print from, and then tap Print.

Confirm your printer is located in the Name or Printers drop-down list box, and then tap Properties, Printer Properties or Preferences.

Tap the Paper/Quality tab.

Tap Advanced, if needed, and then tap Paper Size.

Choose the paper size that corresponds to the size and type of paper mounted in the printer tray. Tap OK.

Tap OK, and then attempt printing.


Step 2 : Examine the Paper Source Setting if the HP OJ Pro 6835 Issue Still Takes Place

Eliminate all the paper from all the printer input trays.

Re-mount the paper, and then customize the paper width guides such that they rest against the edge of the paper pile.

Tap File in the program you want to print from, and then tap Print.

Confirm that your printer is in the Name or Printers drop-down list box, and then tap Properties, Printer Properties or Preferences.

Step 3: Reconfigure the HP Officejet Pro 6835 Printer if the Issue Still Happens

Ensure that the printer is turned on.

Stop until the printer is idle and quiet.

Keeping the printer switched on, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.

Remove the power cord from the wall socket.

Halt for at least 60 seconds.

Attach the power cord back into the wall opening.

Re-link the power cord to the back of the printer.

Confirm that the 123.hp.com/ojpro6835 printer is switched on.
