Unwrap The Canon Pixma TR7020 Printer

Unpack the printer and find the following components inside the package:

Power cord

Safety and important information

Getting started manual

FINE cartridges (color and black)

Discard all the protective tapes and tags from the Canon Pixma TR7020 printer.

Lift the scanner unit, remove the orange tape and other protective materials, and lower the scanner unit.

Connect The Canon Pixma TR7020 Printer

Unpack the power cord, then connect it to your printer and the main power source.

Press the power button on your printer and turn it on.

Use the directional buttons to set your preferred language. Ensure to save the details entered.

Canon Pixma TR7020 Ink Installation

Open the scanning unit to install the FINE cartridges.

Grasp and open the cartridge locking cover on the right side.

Unpack the FINE cartridge that came along with the package.

Hold the cartridge by its side and remove the protective tapes from it.

Insert the FINE cartridge into its slot and press it until you hear it click.

Repeat the same step to Canon Pixma TR7020 install the color FINE cartridge on your printer.

Finish installing and close the cartridge locking cover followed by the scanning unit.

Go to the printer's control panel and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the Canon Pixma TR7020 ink setup.

Canon Pixma TR7020 Paper Installation

You may now see the 'Start alignment to improve print quality?' message on the printer's control panel. Select YES and proceed to install paper.

Remove the paper cassette and slide the edge guides to the extreme.

Take out a stack of paper and load it on the paper cassette.

Now, slide the paper guides towards the paper.

Place the paper cassette into the printer and pull out the output tray.

Go to the control panel and perform the on-screen instructions to complete the Canon Pixma TR7020 paper setup.

Canon Pixma TR7020 Software Setup

Visit Canon's official page to install the printer software for your printer.

Follow the instructions and complete the Canon PIXMA TR7020 printer setup.
