Canon Pixma TS702 Printer Setup Guidance
UNPACK
Unbox the printer and check if the other printer accessories are present in the box.
Remove the packaging materials and the protective tapes from the printer.
Lift the printer’s top cover, then peel off the tapes from the inside of the printer and close the top cover.
SWITCH ON THE PRINTER
Hook up one end of the power cord to the printer and plug the other end to an electrical socket.
Now, press the power button on the control panel to switch on the printer, after which the printer display turns on.
Set the language using the control panel and press the OK button.
INSERT INK TANKS
Again, open the top cover, wait till the print head stops moving, then unpack the new ink tank.
Remove the orange film and cap from the tank, install the ink tank into the print head and gently press it such that it locks into
Verify if the ink indication mark appears on the display panel.
Similarly, install all the other ink tanks in the printer and close the top cover of the Canon Pixma TS702 setup.
After that, check the display panel for a message and press OK.
LOAD PAPER TO THE PAPER CASSETTE
After you install the ink tanks, when the message saying to start the alignment appears on the display, press Yes.
Slowly take out the paper cassette from the printer; then take off the cassette cover.
Move the paper guides to the paper size you are loading.
Neatly arrange the paper such that the print side is down, against the front paper guide in the cassette.
Then shift the paper guides to fit the paper size, but see that you do not squeeze the paper.
Replace the paper cassette cover and then insert the cassette into the printer.
Draw the paper output tray outwards until it stops, and see if there is any protective material, then remove it.
Extend the paper output support, which is below the paper cassette.
Check the messages on the printer’s display panel, respond in an appropriate way.
INSTALL THE PRINTER SOFTWARE
When the physical setup is complete, proceed to install the printer software on your computer for easy functioning.
