HP Laserjet M611x Setup

 HP LaserJet M611X is a multi-functional printer, specially designed in a way to protect itself from attacks in real-time. The HP printer will Automatically monitor threats, detect any intrusions, and validate the Operating software. It is the perfect work printer where it can print up to 65 pages per minute and has a wide range of paper-handling options suited for you. The HP LaserJet M611X is considered to be one of the best printers coming from HP at present.

When you unbox the printer from the carton box, you will find other important accessories.

  • The HP LaserJet Multi-function printer
  • The Power cord
  • The User and Installation guide
  • The HP Black LaserJet toner cartridge

Now we will be proceeding with the initial HP Laserjet M611x setup.

  1. Make sure that you have set a proper location to place the printer.
  2. Lift the printer with extra help because the printer will be a little heavy.
  3. Place the printer in a secluded place where there is no direct sunlight.
  4. Remove the protective tapes surrounding the printer and keep it aside.
  5. Press the open button that is seen on the right side of the printer to open the front door.
  6. Pull out the cartridge cover and using the handles, gently place it down.
  7. Remove the HP black ink toner cartridge from the sealed packaging.
  8. Hold both ends of the cartridge and shake to distribute the toner evenly.
  9. Place the toner into the cartridge cover.
  10. Hold the handle of the cartridge cover and gently place it inside.
  11. Close the front door of the HP printer.
  12. Pull out the paper tray from the printer.
  13. Lift the orange level and move the paper guides to the extreme corners of the paper tray.
  14. Insert the stack of papers into the paper tray.
  15. Make sure that you have inserted the papers evenly into the tray.
  16. Slide the paper guides to the edges of the paper and make sure it does not hold the papers tightly as it may lead to paper jams during a print job.
  17. Now, the initial setup is complete.
  18. Take the power cord from the sealed packaging and connect it to the HP Laserjet M611x setup and the power source.
  19. Press the power button located in the front door (right side) to turn on the printer.
