Steps to reinstall the cartridge:

  1. While printing on the Canon printer, if you notice the error code 5011 on the LCD screen, turn off the printer and then remove the power cord from it.
  2. According to the printer model, you can turn ON or OFF the printer while removing the ink cartridges.
  3. But when the error 5011 occurs, we recommend that you turn OFF the printer.
  4. Open the scanner unit and remove the misplaced cartridge from the print head holder.
  5. Now, reinstall the ink cartridge into the print head holder until it snaps.
  6. Once the process is complete, lower the scanner unit and then connect the power cord to the printer.
  7. Press the Power button to turn ON the Canon printer and check if the 5011 error message is cleared from the printer's screen.
