HOW TO CONNECT CANON PRINTER TO MAC

Make sure your Canon printer and the Mac computer are turned on.

Ensure that the printer is placed within the proximity of the router.

On the printer control panel, press the Settings icon.

Use the navigation buttons to select Wireless LAN Setup. Press the OK button.

Select the Other Setup option; press the OK button.

Choose Manual Setup > Cableless Setup.

The printer is now ready to be connected to the wireless network.

Download the driver for the printer from the official Canon support page (based on the Canon printer model).

Once the download is complete, perform a double-click to start the installation.

Follow the commands on the screen.

When the connection screen opens, you get to select the method of connection.

 Choose the wireless option.

Follow the prompts and complete the wireless setup.

The Canon printer is connected to your Mac computer.

In case the Canon printer does not support wireless, you can choose the USB connection when the connection screen opens. Either way, you can successfully connect the Canon printer to a Mac computer.
